I began teaching at Blanco High School in the 2007-08 school year. 

I am currently Blanco Middle School Counselor. 

I am the proud mother of 2 grown children, Ricky and Jennifer.  They have given me two wonderful grandchildren, Hazel, and Wyatt. 

I teach by choice and I love working with young people.  It is a challenge to provide the information they need to enter the future.  When school is not in session, I am frequently at school events to support the students in their endeavors to represent Blanco ISD.  I also work in my yard, play with Hazel a lot, as she lives close to me, and cook.
