Announcing - BISD Fall Musical Auditions For:
Seussical the Musical

Who: Any BISD Student entering 2nd through 12th grade in the 2026-2027 school year
What: Auditions for our Fall musical, Seussical The Musical, on May 16th. It will be presented on November 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th, 2026
When: Saturday, May 16th, Elementary Students: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Middle School/High School: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Where: The BISD Educational Center for the Arts
Why: To have a blast, learn, and grow!
How: By clicking on the sign-up genius link, provided at the bottom of the page, and signing up for an available 10-minute slot. You must have 16-32 measures of a song with a karaoke track prepared to perform. You may be asked to stay and participate in a movement audition. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and athletic shoes. No crocs. No short shorts, short skirts, or tights without a long shirt. This is a school event.

Q; What if all the audition slots are gone or I have a question?
A: Contact Mrs. Moncus melissa.moncus@blancoisd.org and contact brody.cox@blancoisd.org and she will make special arrangements or open up more audition times for you as long as you contact her BEFORE May 16th.
Q; What is the rehearsal schedule like?
A: We rehearse Mondays through Thursdays from 4 -6 starting August 12th with Elementary students USUALLY dismissed at 5:15. Not everybody will be called to come to every rehearsal . Many student activities may conflict so check with Mrs. Moncus if you have a question.
Q; Who do I contact for any extra information?
A: Contact Brody Cox- ( 210-860-2710 ) He is our technical director and he will help you. You may contact him via text (Calls will go to voicemail due to anti-spam). All information will also be sent to Melissa Moncus at the end of each day.
