Blanco ISD

The Blanco Police Department made us aware of a recent arrest due to a threatening comment made
toward children. The comment did not mention any schools in general or specifics regarding any type of
threat.

As we approach the anniversary of the Uvalde tragedy, we are aware of the possibility of people
wanting to scare and disrupt schools. Please be assured that we will not dismiss any threat and will
remain diligent to ensure the safety of those in our district.

The end of the year brings many activities on campuses. Please follow all campus guidelines with regard to
entry on a campus. Law enforcement presence will continue to be a priority.
We thank our students, staff, and community for reporting any suspicious activity that might affect our
schools.
