RED RIBBON WEEK – ELEMENTARY
During the week of October 23-27, 2017 we will be celebrating “Red Ribbon Week”. This year’s theme is “Your Future is Key, Stay Drug Free.” We are asking our students to participate in the various themes that Safety Patrol has selected for each day. The planned themes are to remind our students to live a healthy drug free life when they grow up. Listed below are the activities for the week. We will actually begin our week with the kick off to our food drive on October 20th. The food drive will continue until November 17th. The class who collects the most food items will win an extra recess.
Friday, October 20 Drug Free- You CAN do it! Bring a can of food or a non-perishable food item to donate to the Good Samaritan Center.
Monday, October 23 “Drugs Destroy Dreams”- Wear your pajamas.
Tuesday, October 24 “Put a cap on Drugs” Wear your favorite hat or cap.
Wednesday, October 25 “Team Up Against Drugs.” Wear your favorite sports jersey.
Thursday, October 26 “Shade out Drugs” Wear sunglasses
Friday, October 27 “Say Boo to Drugs” Wear your Halloween Costume

Tuesday—Stomp Out Drugs (Wear BOOTS)
Wednesday—Be a Hero, Not a Zero (Wear Superhero shirt)
Thursday—Your Future is Key, Stay Drug Free (Wear college/trade school/military shirt)
Friday—Be Bright, Blackout Drugs (Wear NEON or BLACK)
